Archive Watch Along Party

  • The NewBridge Project 4-8 Clarence Walk (via Stoddart St) England, NE2 1AL United Kingdom (map)

Over the last year, conversations between Shieldfield residents, workers and friends were collected as part of the 100 People project. This digital archive has now been handed over to Dwellbeing Shieldfield to take care of into the future. This means that all photos and audio-visual recordings gathered during 100 People are now collectively owned by us and our community.

What now?

We need your help to make this a living archive, not something hidden away in a draw.

Join us to explore what that might look like, by watching some sample recordings together at The NewBridge Project.

Tuesday 13 June, 9.30am - 12.30pm

Thursday 15 June, 5.30pm - 8.30pm

During the screening, we will consider what questions we need to ask and answer to make this archive a reality. This might include:

  • Practical questions like where and how will people be able to watch this?

  • Care-taking questions like who has access to watch? Who has access to edit?

  • Process questions like what information about each recording do we need to note and make available?

  • Questions about the future: how do we add to this? What would YOU like to do with this? What COULD happen?

Snacks provided. Come to either or both parties.

This is a free workshop open to all participants of 100 People, Dwellbeing members, friends, family and neighbours.

If you need help whatsoever to attend then get in touch as we have a budget to support you. Please let us know if you are coming by phone or email.
