BRASH Theatre will be joining us to run a workshop to develop and influence their new show “Ankles”!
BRASH is a bold, educational theatre company for young people living in Newcastle. We make theatre that represents the voices of young people, and that helps young people learn about issues around sex, health, and relationships.
BRASH is currently making a show about growing up as a teenager and the way your bodies are treated by others. We are holding workshops with teenagers to help us build our show. This is a great opportunity to have your voice heard in a professional piece of theatre, and even to make your own creative pieces of writing. If you are 13-18, we would love to meet you and hear about your experiences as a teenager in these fun & informal workshops. '
The workshop will take part in the Forum Cafe, Wretham Place. To take part in this workshop please book by getting in touch with Kate: kate@thenewbridgeproject.com .
*Trigger Warning: Please note this workshop may contain discussions about sensitive subjects*
**Due to the nature of the workshop it will only be open to self-identifying young women and non-binary people and they must be aged 13 and over to take part**
