Join us for a learning conversation about community archives with Dagmar Brunow, professor of film studies. Dagma’s research is all about archives and audiovisual heritage as well as feminist and queer experimental filmmaking and video practice. She is coming from Sweden to Shieldfield to find out more about 100 People and to share her learning about other community archives.
Over the last year, conversations between Shieldfield residents, workers and friends were collected as part of the 100 People project. This digital archive has now been handed over to Dwellbeing Shieldfield to take care of into the future. This means that all photos and audio-visual recordings gathered during 100 People are now collectively owned by us and our community.
We are now exploring what it will take to make this a living archive, not something hidden away in a draw.
During this conversation with Dagmar Brunow, we will share some of the questions and ideas that have developed out of our ‘Watch Along’ workshops.
